Drew was born and reared in a Jewish home and was Bar Mitzvahed at the age of 13.  His family resided in Montgomery Village, Maryland for the majority of his childhood and teenage years.   After graduating from high school he attended the University of South Carolina where he worked for the athletic department as a strength and conditioning coach.  It was there that he met his wife, Penny, in the fall of 1988.   In December of that year he trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of his sins. 

Drew and Penny graduated from USC and were married.  Convinced that the Lord was calling him to serve as a pastor he enrolled at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO in the summer of 1992.   Drew  graduated with a MDIV (Masters of Divinity) and Penny with a MAGTS (Masters in General Theological Studies) in May 1996.  He has been serving as a pastor ever since.

Jesse Myers - Music Director

Jesse leads the music ministry at Rose Hill Presbyterian Church.  He studied music for two years at Michigan State University and received an Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies from New Tribes Bible Institute.  Jesse graduated from Columbia International University with a Bachelor of Science in Music and Bible.  He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Columbia International University.

Jesse was born in Martinsburg, West Virginia.  During Jesse’s early childhood his parents served with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Canada and Colorado before returning to West Virginia.  He met his wife, Diana, while attending Michigan State University where he was very active with the Navigators.  They have been blessed with three children.

Jesse’s current musical leadership at Rose Hill is an expression of his blended musical background.  Contemporary music and the traditional hymns accompanied by modern tunes are woven into each Sunday morning worship service.

Joy Smith - Secretary

Joy has served as the Administrative Assistant at Rose Hill since August of 2001.  After graduating from the University of South Carolina in Business she worked for 20 years as an insurance auditor.   Joy is the mother of two grown children.
