Pastor Drew Kornreich

Rev. Andrew (Drew) Scott Kornreich became pastor of Rose Hill on August 1, 2006. He was born in New York and grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He was reared in a Jewish home, and became a Christian in 1988, while attending the University of South Carolina. Shortly after his conversion, he became involved with Campus Crusade for Christ. He was planning on working with Crusade's athletic ministry at North Carolina State University, when through the ministry of First Presbyterian Church of Columbia, he became convinced that the Lord was calling him into pastoral work.

Drew and Penny were married on May 30, 1992, and began attending Covenant Theological Seminary that summer. After four challenging years in St. Louis, they graduated in 1996, and Drew received a call as an assistant pastor at Northeast Presbyterian Church in Columbia.

Since that time he had been a pastor in churches in Summerville and in Columbia, having spent the last five years as a senior pastor.

Drew and Penny have two children: Tory (7) and Toby (3 1/2). Drew's hobbies include exercising, reading and spending time with the family.

Joy Smith - Secretary

Our ever faithful secretary, Joy Smith, was called by The Lord to ministry at Rose Hill in August of 2001. Joy is the mother of two teenagers. Her son Cooper and a daughter, Joy Beth.

Joy has a B.S. in Business from the University of South Carolina. She worked for 20 years as an insurance auditor.

She says, "I'm amazed at the ways God finds to use our gifts and talents when we allow Him to be in control of our lives and jobs."

Evangeline Enlow - Nursery Coordinator

"I grew up in Columbia and lived here my whole life while my father was
working at Columbia International University. I graduated from CIU with a
double major in Bible and Elementary Education in 2004. I have been
teaching third grade in Richland School District Two for the past three
years. I enjoy ministering to children of all ages, so I love having the
unique opportunity to work with older students during the week and
ministering to our youngest church members on Sunday!"
