Pastor Drew Kornreich
Rev. Andrew (Drew) Scott Kornreich has served as pastor of Rose Hill since August 1, 2006.
Drew was born in New York and grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Reared in a Jewish home, he became a Christian in 1988, while attending the University of South Carolina. Shortly after his conversion, he became involved with Campus Crusade for Christ. He was planning on working with Crusade's athletic ministry at North Carolina State University, when through the ministry of First Presbyterian Church of Columbia, he became convinced that the Lord was calling him into pastoral work.
Drew and Penny were married on May 30, 1992, and began attending Covenant Theological Seminary that summer. After four challenging years in St. Louis, they graduated in 1996, and Drew received a call as an assistant pastor at Northeast Presbyterian Church in Columbia.
Since that time he had been a pastor in churches in Summerville and in Columbia, having spent the last five years as a senior pastor. Drew and Penny have two children: Tory and Toby.
Drew's hobbies include exercising, reading and spending time with the family.

Jesse Myers - Musician
Jesse Myers leads the music ministry at Rose Hill Presbyterian Church. Jesse studied music for two years at Michigan State University, received an Associate of Arts in Biblical Studies from New Tribes Bible Institute, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Music and Bible from Columbia International University. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at Columbia International University.
Jesse was born in Martinsburg, West Virginia, son of Dave and Dawn Myers. During Jesse’s early childhood, Dave and Dawn served with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Canada and Colorado before returning to West Virginia. Jesse, his five siblings, and his parents attended several Presbyterian and reformed churches in which Jesse was exposed to both traditional psalms and hymns and contemporary worship music.
During his time at Michigan State University and through involvement with the Navigators, Jesse met Diana, now his wife. They have two children, Anne (2 yrs. old) and Jesse Daniel (1 yr. old).
Jesse’s current musical leadership at Rose Hill is an expression of his blended musical background. While many traditional hymns are sung, contemporary music is also included, and both are woven into the Sunday services in various ways. It will be exciting to see how the Lord Jesus will continue to grow the music ministry at Rose Hill as he continues to fulfill his promise to grow his church.
